One Property, Two Personalities — Part 2: The Spacious Retreat

Welcome back to Part 2 of this double-house Sedona real estate feature! In the last post, we covered the retro 50-year-old main house — full of charm, character, and sunset glow. Today’s spotlight shifts to the second home on the property: a larger retreat that brings a different energy to the same stunning landscape.

Where the first house leans nostalgic, this one feels designed for today — bigger footprint and wide-open outdoor living spaces built for hosting, lounging, and taking in those iconic red rock views. That contrast is part of what makes this listing so unique: two homes, two styles, one incredible Sedona address.

For the photography, we again created a two-phase exterior shoot — daytime and twilight.
✅ Daytime to showcase scale, layout, driveway approach, and how the architecture opens toward the desert views.
✅ Twilight to turn the home into a glowing focal point and give the outdoor gathering areas an irresistible “come relax here” vibe.

This house features expansive patios, multiple seating zones, and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow—so we made sure to capture everything from the stonework details to the sunset reflections in the oversized windows. The larger footprint means buyers need clarity on how the spaces connect, so aerial and wide-lens compositions were key.

Twilight was, once again, the scene-stealer. The bigger home meant more windows, more light spill, more glow—and with Sedona throwing a gradient sky from orange to plum, it created the kind of hero shots that stop people mid-scroll on Zillow, MLS, and Instagram.

Why Photograph BOTH Houses Separately?

A property with two dwellings is a selling advantage only if the photos clearly communicate their individuality. By giving each home its own visual narrative, agents can market:
• Multi-generational living
• Guest or rental income potential
• Private retreat + main residence flexibility
• Vacation rental + owner suite opportunities

One property. Two lifestyles. Twice the selling power.

If you’re listing a Sedona property—whether it’s a single home, a multi-unit estate, or a one-of-a-kind architectural combo—intentional photography is what turns “nice listing” into “bookmark, save, schedule a showing.”
